We all know that stock lighting on most adventure/dual-sport bikes is less than optimum, and this was the case on our bone stock 2007 KTM Super Enduro. In searching out a cost effective way to light up the Jeep roads on this mostly dirt-oriented machine, a friend of the magazine told us to check out Bean LED Industries.

WOW! The prices make their products a fantastic deal—but what can we expect for quality? We decided to get a set of the spot Dualies and then decide. First impressions were positive.

The four Cree LED bulbs are housed in a sturdy cast aluminum housing with shatterproof polycarbonate lens. And the beauty is that each unit kicks out an impressive 1,440 Lumens with only 16 watts of draw.

The first night of testing we sought out a dark country dirt road. Riding with just the stock headlight at 50 mph we were already outrunning the headlight to ride at that speed with any confidence.

However, once we hit the switch to turn on the two Dualies, SHAZAM! The additional 2,880 Lumens instantly instilled a sense of confidence while riding the dark dirt roads. And so far, the lights have held up to the constant pounding of the dirt roads the bike is mostly ridden on.

If you’re looking for a cost effective way to make your night riding excursions safer, definitely take a look at what Bean LED Industries has to offer, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised at their prices. MSRP: Dual light package with harness $110 BeanLEDIndustries.com
