Practicality. This is the word I keep in mind when selecting what gear comes with me on a trip and what gear stays at home. I’ve always packed a separate dry bag for all my clothes when traversing on two wheels, but Moto-Skiveez newest piece of technical riding apparel changes that. The Traveler Shirt is quite literally the only shirt you’re going to need on your next adventure ride. Gone are the days of wasting precious space and weight packing a variety of shirts into your dry-bags and panniers.
Made out of ultra-lightweight and durable fabric, when compressed and rolled inside of its included stuff sack, the shirt takes up no more space than a pair of socks. In fact, it weighs about the same as a pair of socks too. The Traveler Shirt is made out of a high-tech synthetic material, with an uncanny ability to dry quickly – meaning washing and drying your clothes in the backcountry just got a lot easier. In addition, being that this piece of apparel isn’t cotton based, it’s going to take a lot more effort to get it to stink even after a week or two on the road.

As much as I love riding, there’s nothing better than getting to the campsite after a long day of racking up the miles, shedding your jacket and boots, and slipping into comfortable shoes and a shirt. The sides of the shirt feature a stretchy, elastic-like material, that can adapt to many different body types, making for an agreeable fit. Being that the only closures to be found on this are micro-snaps, a zipper, and magnets, losing a button really isn’t going to be a problem – buttons have a tendency to get caught on things anyway, as well as loosen over time. Following Moto-Skiveez precedent, the Traveler Shirt features high quality and sturdy construction. There are two breast pockets on the front, plenty of venting in the upper back and easily rollable sleeves for warm weather versatility.
It’s tough to get worked up about a shirt, but this is the real deal. Designed and produced specifically with the motorcycle adventurer in mind, this product bridges the gap between “soft-gear” and “apparel.” It’s technical, practical, and functional while being more than just a regular button down. Don’t fret about over or under-packing clothes again, toss the Traveler Shirt in your panniers and forget about it. MSRP: $60.00 MotoSkiveez.com
