The video capturing world has been on fire since the first GoPro was launched back in 2004. Since then companies have scrambled to market similar options at lower prices and varying capabilities, sending into the world a frenzy of people capturing all sorts of video tidbits.
I wasn’t a huge fan of the GoPro, primarily for the fact that it wasn’t the easiest camera to operate. Fast forward about 12 years, and we now have the Sena Prism Tube—something that speaks my language. It’s an easy-to-use, lightweight camera that allows the capture of great video and commentary while documenting your greatest adventures.
The Prism Tube weighs a scant 75 grams, which is less than most wallets. With full HD quality, 125-degree view, 360 degrees of rotation, and dual mics, you’ll have endless possibilities for capturing your rides. The plug-in speaker and mic allow you to hear voice prompts if the camera is on and recording. The wired mic allows you to comment on what is happening in the video. Mounting the camera is a breeze, with a pressure mount using two Allen screws to hold it in place.
What sold me on the Sena Prism Tube is the fact that it doesn’t break the bank and is super easy to use with its slide on/off operation. Recording time is around two hours, which is plenty to capture all of your shenanigans during a ride. MSRP: $119 Sena.com
