Between the sections of tight singletrack we’re thundering over sandy whoops in a dust cloud that feels like it might as well be a desert race. I’ve got a few snacks, zip-ties and tools right within my reach but not in my jacket, backpack or tail pouch, and I don’t have a tank bag getting in my way or a fender bag bouncing around in front. Instead, the Wolfman Enduro Carry-All ’12 number plate bag keeps my things within easy access but completely out of my way.

wolfman carry all 2The Wolfman Carry-All Number Plate Bag is a great storage solution for quick and easy access to small essentials.

Tank bags are undeniably convenient luggage solutions, and they can be great on anything from a lightweight dual-sport to a heavyweight adventure bike. However, for those of us who find even the best tank bags cumbersome for off-road riding, the Enduro Carry-All ’12 may be the right solution. This number plate bag fits on almost any dual-sport or enduro-type bike where there’s room to strap it above the headlight. Once in place, mine needed no further adjustment of the mounting straps to keep it firmly set and the compression straps and zipper were easy to access from the seat.

A feature I didn’t think I’d ever use, but that I found surprisingly useful, is the clear map pocket that can be Velcroed into place in either “portrait” or “landscape” mode. It flips easily out of the way if you need something behind it, but through tight singletrack, sandy whoops and highway riding the map pocket never showed hints of falling off. The map pocket sits right near the gauges and easily led me through hundreds of miles of Michigan singletrack. Inside, a small organizer pocket and keychain strap help keep things in their places. The Carry-All ’12 is a simple and very practical solution for storing most of the usual small tank bag contents you want within reach but completely out of your way. MSRP: $74.99 WolfmanLuggage.com.
