In January 2019 Simon & Lisa Thomas, better known as “2 Ride The World”, will be returning to their favourite continent, Africa, but this time they are inviting you to join them on this amazing adventure. The 2Ride The World duo have teamed up with Ayres Adventures, one of the premier and most established Motorcycle Touring Companies in the world, to design a very special African tour especially for their friends and followers.
Simon and Lisa wanted a tour that would start in arguably the most beautiful city in the world - Cape Town - and end at one of the most famous natural wonders of the world, Victoria Falls. In-between they wanted to share an authentic sampling of the African safari experience and, of course, fabulous riding. This 16-day Club Class tour features invigorating mountain passes, sweeping coastal highways, and roads that lead through wine country, fertile valleys and along rural landscapes dotted with traditional African villages.
To complete the “African experience”, the tour also includes a full day on safari in Kruger National Park, and a wildlife cruise on the stunning Chobe River.

Riding every day with two of the most accomplished adventure riders on earth is a rare opportunity in itself, but sharing a ride with them across one of the most intensely beautiful and rewarding areas of the world, well, that’s a once in a lifetime experience. A new BMW motorcycle will be supplied, so riders won’t have to deal with shipping hassles. Importantly the tour will also be supported by a fully equipped back-up vehicle, experienced staff, and luxurious accommodation.
Victoria Falls
The fully loaded 16-day tour travels across three countries, starting in one of the most iconic capital cities in the world, Cape Town. Rider’s will then ride through Southern Africa into Botswana and finally into Zambia, where the tour will finish at the legendary Victoria Falls on the Zambian border. The tour is primarily road based, which also makes it ideal for couples that want to experience Africa together on one motorcycle, or for the new adventurer who’s looking to learn from the best.
Guest’s can look forward to a relaxed riding pace, and a schedule that will allow for riders to chat around an evening campfire, recanting the days highlights. Perhaps that was the delicious wine at lunch or the strolling elephant that meandered past you this morning, or perhaps the group of Massai warriors that waved and clapped at you as you rode past?
