The Velocity High-Performance Chain Maintenance System from Chain Luber Systems LLC, cleans-up, accelerates and simplifies the often put-off chore of cleaning and lubricating motorcycle and bicycle chains by turning this messy process into an easy, clean, splatter-free and hassle-free experience with minimal prep and minimal clean-up. Motorcyclists, cyclists and service shops will find the simple hands-free operation and efficiently controlled application (injected by syringe) of inexpensive gear-oils for lubrication and kerosene or solvents for cleaning to be time-saving and cost effective, while still being able to use any aerosol-spray lube or cleaner.

The patented clam-shell design easily mounts around the chain to form an enclosed protective chamber that directs and controls material flow onto the chain and through the tool, decreasing splatter and over-spray while eliminating clean-up. The system is not permanently attached to the bike and assembly and disassembly is quick and easy. The tool is held from being pulled into the rear sprocket by a wire ‘leash’ that is securely anchored to a solid point on the bike, leaving your hands free to operate the syringe or a spray-can and rotate the rear wheel or turn the crank on a bicycle. It also packs small for storage and for portable on-the-road chain maintenance to remove the build-up of road-grit and re-lube on long trips.
Gear/axle oils and liquid solvents are injected by syringe or aerosols are sprayed into the body of tool through a tube inserted into a port in the lid, where these materials are efficiently distributed over the chain surfaces with minimal or zero waste. When using liquid cleaning solvent like kerosene (recommended cleaning agent by all chain manufacturers) or any aerosol-spray cleaners, the build-up of road-grit is loosened and flushed-away without using brushes that tend to redistribute crud back onto the chain. Excess material-flow is contained and drains through a tube inserted into a port on the bottom-side of the tool, where it is collected along with any directed out-flow, to be recycled or filtered and reused. Any remaining gunk on the chain wiped-clean with a shop cloth. The system is sold and delivered in a reusable heavy-duty 4 mil plastic bag. MSRP: $49.95 USD ChainLuberSystems.com
