CSC Motorcycles announced today that the California Air Resources Board (CARB) approved its new RX3 adventure touring motorcycle. With its recent approval by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, the CSC RX3 motorcycle is now approved in all 50 US states.

“We were confident that the RX3 would be approved by CARB,” said Steve Seidner, CSC President and Chief Executive Officer. “The RX3 motorcycle is a very clean-running bike, with fuel injection, a catalytic converter, and volatile emissions containment features, so we never had any doubts it would be approved.

It passed all of its exhaust and volatile emissions tests. It’s a great bike and we thank both CARB and the US EPA for acting expeditiously on our submittal. We are now turning our attention to Canada, the next country in which we are certifying the RX3.”

“We are breaking new ground with our path to market on this motorcycle, which is one of the reasons we can offer it at such an attractive price,” Seidner continued. “We sell direct to the consumer, the motorcycle has a two-year, unlimited-mileage warranty, and we include a shop manual with every motorcycle we sell.

We don't have exorbitant delivery or dealer setup fees. Our website includes detailed “how to” instructions for all required routine maintenance actions, including valve adjustment, oil changes, and more.

Our intent is to empower our riders to be self-sufficient, without being chained to a dealer network. We stock enough parts to build the motorcycles from the ground up, so there will never be a situation where we don’t have parts in stock. The price is right and the CSC RX3’s quality is world class. Anyone who says otherwise has not seen the bikes.”

“We will always put our riders first,” Seidner said, “and we’ve configured the motorcycle the way our riders want it. That includes a 17-inch rear wheel, 12-volt accessory outlets under the seat, and a 300-watt alternator. These are all things that are important to serious adventure touring riders, and they are all included with the motorcycle at no extra charge.

“I really like this motorcycle,” Seidner said. “We put several hundred miles on the bikes just last weekend on a ride through the Mojave Desert. The bikes will run all day long at 75 mph and we averaged 71.4 miles per gallon on that trip.

The three US magazines that tested our RX3 motorcycles had good things to say about the bike. The RX3 is a game changer in this industry. We’re very excited about it.” CaliforniaScooterCo.com
