Dunlop announced a brand new dual-sport tire for North America called the D605. Less aggressive and likely smoother rolling than the popular D606 DOT legal off-road tire, the D605's appear to have a new tread pattern and is available in a good set of sizes but no 19" front tire size as of yet.

Update: MSRP's are looking like $50/front and $75/rear so about $125 for a set. With street retail discounts, anywhere between $90-100 for a set. The D605's are being marketed as a "value" tire so longevity, compound and traction will be on the top of our list for testing. Always good to have more affordable dual-sport tire options and it's great to see Dunlop's new entry level offering. Press release follows below with size chart.
Buffalo, NY: Dunlop introduces the all-new D605™, a DOT-legal knobby that fulfills the needs of dual-sport riders who tackle serious off-road terrain. The D605 joins the popular D606™ in Dunlop’s line of dual-sport tires aimed at small and mid-displacement bikes, and is targeted at value-oriented customers.
The D605 features a full-depth tread pattern designed for rigorous off-road use, and offers excellent traction on everything from hard-packed fire roads to soft single-track trails. A tire equipped to go anywhere, the D605 is a great all-around tire and provides riders with a more affordable alternative to the premium D606.
