Backcountry Discovery Routes announces Nevada as the Next BDR State and host for the ADV Expo in Las Vegas. Since 2010, the adventure motorcycling non-profit Backcountry Discovery Routes (BDR) has created six trans-state routes for dual-sport and adventure motorcycle travel. Having recently published the New Mexico route, the BDR organization is now setting its sights on Nevada, announcing NVBDR scheduled for release in 2017.

To kick off the NVBDR, BDR is hosting an ADV Expo in conjunction with the NMBDR movie premiere on April 12, 2016 at the Cannery Casino & The Galaxy Theatre in Las Vegas. The Expo is free to the public and will feature local Nevada businesses and organizations that serve and support the adventure motorcycling community. The BDR team will be in attendance to present plans for the NVBDR project to the local community groups and riders.

“We are working with a dedicated group of local riders and companies to create a Nevada BDR that will showcase the incredible riding opportunities available in the remote areas of the state,” said Inna Thorn, BDR Director of Operations. “With increasing closures of public land for OHV recreation, BDR's protection of riding areas and infusion of motorcycle tourism dollars into small communities, has become critically important. Through the BDR, riders each year help advocate for keeping recreational access to public land in remote areas, and they also bring much needed tourism dollars to small towns to revitalize local economies.”
