Denver-based elite outdoor gear company 5Owls launched today a Facebook photo contest under the theme 'The Great Outdoor Adventure." The contest, which is open to anyone within the United States, calls on contestants to enter a photo from a past outdoor adventure.

"We're really excited to see what contestants have captured on film. We know there's a great deal of enthusiasm just in Colorado - let alone in the rest of the US - for adventuring in the incredible outdoors," says 5Owls CEO, Roger Cohen, "and we can't wait to share the product of our passions - our shelters - with contestants who love the outdoors as much as we do."

Prizes include the winner's choice of the company's top-of-the-line personal shelters and a selection of other gear. The contest runs through August 31st.
