Join Brad and his award-winning team of videographers as they document the heart and soul behind the sport of adventure riding. You’ll see for yourself that weekend rides in the Adventure Motorcycle world aren’t exactly a walk in the park.

The Ride of My Life is the autobiographical account of Brad Barker’s, passion for exploring the world from the back of a motorbike. As the founder of The HALO Corporation, a private security consultancy, Brad found himself travelling the world's disaster areas while witnessing some of the most difficult and darkest realities our planet currently faces.

One day he pondered the question "Where's all the good news?" and began taking the steps to seek out positive and intriguing experiences on his "life ride". More videos and information is available at: www.therideofmylife.net.

Review from Mike Golomb:

What is there to say about the Ride of My Life's latest installation, "Taste of Dakar"? Well, if you've had the pleasure of meeting Brad, it's a natural extension of his personality. This isn't the subject of another Hipster Bike Videos feature; this is Brad speaking from his heart about the place his heart now resides.

Adventure motorcycling isn't for everyone, and not everyone understands it. If you were to separate the movie's narration from the footage, it might sound like an excited kid raging about the latest fad. But when Brad's impassioned narration is juxtaposed over the wonderfully edited footage of his riding experiences, its clear that his descriptions truthfully and sincerely reflect the reality of this bizarre torture fest we riders so willfully indulge in.

His footage from the brutal AltRider: Taste of Dakar session in Death Valley carries the viewer from the gripping anticipation of getting to the event to the peaks and valleys of experiencing it. By masterfully weaving in the dramatic tales of those featured in the event, this segment of Ride of My Life implores the viewer to question their own passions, motivations, and ultimately ask themselves, "Why haven't I signed up for the Taste of Dakar yet?"
