Tour Director Claus Lazik recently returned from his Japan scouting trip and has finalized the details of an exciting new adventure published on the Ayres website. Many of Claus’s photographs from the scouting trip are now incorporated into the slide show on the page. The adventure has been renamed to Japan – Cherry Blossoms and Mt. Fuji. Claus was able to design a route that not only includes great motorcycling to the most popular locations for seeing Japan’s cherry blossoms, but also included one of the country’s most popular attractions – Mt. Fuji. The 14-day trip will begin March 28, 2015. Only a few spots remain.
As we speak, the intrepid riders of the 35-day Munich to Istanbul Adventure are enjoying the first week of this exciting trip. This adventure includes 15 different countries covering approximately 9,500 km (6,000 miles) of exceptional motorcycle travel. From Germany, the tour proceeds through Austria, Slovenia, Italy, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, and Turkey. Ayres will operate this trip again beginning in May of 2016. If you’re interested in this Adventure, it’s time to start planning.
If you haven’t experienced the “motorcycling paradise” of New Zealand in spring (September, October and November) you’re in for a real treat. Ayres 13-day New Zealand Top Down Adventure begins November 8, 2014 and there are still spaces available. The adventure begins on the North Island in Auckland and ends in Christchurch on the South Island, with a wealth of unforgettable experiences in between. You’ll ride the stunning roads of the Coromandel Peninsula, visit the North Island’s wine country, experience the Maori culture at Rotorua, cross the Cook Strait to the South Island where you’ll visit the Fox and Franz Joseph Glaciers, and stop for a night at Mt. Cook before heading to Christchurch. If you’re looking for a springtime getaway before the holiday season begins, New Zealand in November could be for you.
