Back Road Equipment LLC has a new Sport Rack for 2011 and newer Triumph Tiger 800s. Their smaller rack measures 12” x 12” perfect for those who want clean lines on their Tiger but still want the functionality of the Slider Rack System.

Like BRE’s full size racks, the Sport Rack is made from 3/16” 6061 aluminum alloy and CNC machined for a perfect fit. Charcoal gray hard coat anodizing provides a durable and refined finish.

The main feature of the Slider Rack is it’s quick connect system that allows the rider to use the top box of their choice and remove or attach it in less than 5 seconds. The retaining lever’s unique geometry creates a rattle free attachment that will not come unlatched even in the most extreme off road conditions.

The retaining lever can be used lock free; this eliminates the need to fumble with a key to remove the box. If security is needed a small pad lock can be used to lock the lever for a theft proof connection. Also available as an option is an integrated stainless steel keyed lock mechanism.

The system allows the rider to go from commuter to explorer by removal of the box and strapping on a dry bag or duffle with the generous strap cutouts. The rack also has mounting holes for Rotopax fuel/water mounts.

The rack is designed elusively for the Tiger so it fits like a glove. A smart and unique thumb cut out makes seat removal a breeze. The rack system includes four Delrin box mounting pucks and high quality bike mounting hardware.
