The concept of the GP450 Adventure has been in development for five years. Recognising the missing gap for a lightweight Adventure bike that could truly be capable of handling offroad terrain yet enduring the long distances on road, CCM worked on developing a product that would hit this niche.

Five years from the testing of the aluminum Bond-Lite frame on the MX track to long trips on the roads and trails to test seat comfort, and the learning isn't over, CCM are still developing the aftermarket range by listening to their customers feedback in order to hit the market successfully and provide exactly what riders want in a lightweight adventure bike.

According to our sources we can finally begin the countdown for the GP450's US arrival. CCM is currently in the process of recruiting North American dealers. Certification for US CARB/EPA testing is currently in progress and should be completed by May 2015, with deliveries following shortly thereafter.
