CSC Motorcycles announced today that it will be an exhibitor at next week’s Overland Expo in Flagstaff, Arizona. The Azusa California-based motorcycle manufacturer and importer will lead a team of riders on its new adventure touring RX3 motorcycles from its corporate headquarters to the Overland Expo event in Arizona, departing on Wednesday afternoon.

CSC will present an RX3 overview at the Overland Expo event on Friday morning, as described below in the event’s program:

"CSC’s RX3 presentation will cover the RX3’s development history and features, and highlights completed long distance rides–including Chongqing-to-Istanbul and the grand loop through China and Tibet–as well as the Three Flags, Baja, and other rides CSC is planning for its riders.

CSC will address why it believes a 250cc motorcycle is the ideal size for real world adventure touring. With online service tutorials, CSC outlines the ease with which the RX3 can be maintained. Finally, perceptions of Chinese motorcycle quality will be addressed directly; CSC’s Joe Berk (who teaches in Cal Poly’s Manufacturing Engineering department and consults with manufacturers internationally on quality and manufacturing issues) will outline Zongshen’s production operations and quality management approach."

In addition to displaying new RX3 motorcycles at the Overland Expo event, CSC will offer guided RX3 rides to area attractions, including Sedona and other noteworthy Arizona locations. The RX3 motorcycle is manufactured by Zongshen in China to CSC specifications.

At its $3495 price, the motorcycle includes luggage, windshield, dual sport tires, disk brakes, engine guards, a skid plate, and all other features required for adventure riding. The RX3 motorcycle has a 250cc water cooled engine with electric starting, a counterbalancer, overhead camshaft, and a six-speed transmission.

CSC offers a 2-year, unlimited mileage warranty on the RX3. The motorcycle has been approved by the United States Environmental Protection Agency and the California Air Resources Board, and it is fully street and freeway legal in all 50 US states.
