CSC Motorcycles has announced it has posted an extensive series of online maintenance tutorials for its new motorcycle, the RX3 Cyclone.
“We’ve taken a different path to market with the RX3,” said Steve Seidner, President and Chief Executive Officer of CSC Motorcycles. “We sell the RX3 direct; there are no dealers in the loop. We did this to keep our customers’ costs down, and we’re providing the maintenance tutorials to allow our customers to maintain their own motorcycles. The tutorials include service and maintenance activities that carry a high price tag at dealerships.
We have maintenance tutorials on valve adjustment, the electrical system, changing the oil, servicing the RX3’s disk brakes, and many other actions. We also provide a free Service Manual to anyone who purchases the RX3. This approach, combined with the RX3’s 2-year, unlimited mileage warranty, the complete adventure touring accessories package, and $3495 price tag represent tremendous value for our customers.”

“We believe the RX3’s engineering and our maintenance tutorials are a good combination,” Seidner continued. “The CSC RX3 motorcycle is easy to maintain and offers great performance. As a 250cc motorcycle, it’s a sensible solution to real-world adventure traveling. It’s not the fastest motorcycle on the road, but it was never intended to be.
The allure of a hyper-performance motorcycle that can hit 60 mph in 2.9 seconds fades pretty quickly when a dealer wants $1000 to adjust the valves. On the RX3, the cost of a valve adjustment is an hour of your time. Our tutorials show you how to do it, and we’ve always believed that maintaining your own bike is a fun part of the ownership experience.”

The CSC RX3 motorcycle, manufactured to CSC specifications by Zongshen in China (one of the world’s largest motorcycle manufacturers), has been approved by the US EPA and the California Air Resources Board. The first shipment is at the Port of Long Beach. RX3 motorcycles will be delivered to CSC customers as soon as the container ship is unloaded.
The CSC Motorcycles maintenance tutorials are accessible now through the company’s website. For further information, please visit CSCMotorcycles.com
