CSC Motorcycles announced that it will ride a grand loop of the western United States with several key CSC personnel as well as guests from Zongshen Industrial Group and AKT July 15-31. Zongshen Industrial Group, the largest motorcycle manufacturer in China, manufactures the 250cc RX3 adventure touring motorcycle to CSC specifications. AKT is a firm that sells a version of the RX3 in Colombia.
Zongshen is sending several of its key engineers and marketing personnel to the United States for the ride, while AKT is sending three members of its technical and marketing staff from Columbia. Chinese and US journalists, as well as several of CSC’s RX3 customers, will also participate in the upcoming 5000-mile adventure tour. This is what Steve Seidner, President and CEO at CSC had to say about the ride:
This is going to be a magnificent ride. The total distance will be approximately 5,000 miles, and we’ll ride the great circle loop through California, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, South Dakota, Wyoming, Idaho, Washington, and Oregon.

We believe in the RX3 motorcycle and we are eager to show the world just how capable this bike is. We’ve been reviewed by four US motorcycle magazines, and all have given the RX3 high marks. This bike is a winner and we’re proud that we are bringing it to North America.
We like to think of ourselves as different from the rest of the people selling adventure motorcycles. We’re not just selling motorcycles. We’re bringing our riders, the people who buy our bikes, into the adventure riding experience. This is just one of several adventure rides we have planned.
After the success of our Inaugural Baja Run, in which we and 15 of our customers rode a total of 26,500 miles in Mexico on a 5-day adventure run down to the Sea of Cortez and back, we’re eager to get on the road again. The good guys from Zongshen and AKT wanted to join in the fun, and we’re delighted to have them along. The RX3 is a great motorcycle designed to go the distance, both on road and off, and we love riding.

We’re going to show the Chinese and the Colombians some of the best America has to offer. The Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce, Mt. Rushmore, Devil’s Tower, the Columbia River Gorge, the Oregon Coast Highway, the Pacific Coast Highway, Hearst Castle, and more.
Our Chinese friends get to experience what it’s like to ride in the US and they’ll get first-hand feedback from US riders. Our RX3 customers get to talk to the people who manufacture the RX3. The AKT folks, who want to offer similar adventure rides in Colombia, get to see how we organize and run our rides.
In fact, AKT has invited us to ride with them in Colombia. We are very excited about all of this, but we are most excited about the satisfaction our customers are having with the RX3 and with CSC Motorcycles, and with our adventure riding program. It’s a win-win situation all the way around. CSCMotorcycles.com
