Piloted by Micky Diamond and Don Canet, the team is sending two Multistrada 1200 S models to the summit of Pikes Peak in the quest to defend the all-time fastest motorcycle record time of 9:52.819 set by Carlin Dunne on a Ducati Multistrada in 2012. A win by either Diamond or Canet will mark five-consecutive years of victories for Ducati and the Multistrada at the historic race.

Practice sessions this week have been quintessentially Pikes Peak, with cold temperatures and weather conditions changing by the minute. Several crashes throughout the week are a constant reminder of how unforgiving the mountain can be. The Spider Grips Ducati team has had strong practice sessions and will head into race day with confidence.
