Friends and Bikers for Africa is a non-profit organization that was founded in August 2012 by Francesco Maglione. It is the culmination of his idea to join his passion for riding motorbikes with his non-profit organization experience helping children in need.

The main concept of F&B is to use the internet and social media to aggregate people across the world (not just bikers) to focus on the same goal. This model allows everyone be part of the project by contributing just a small donation.

No one has to make a considerable economic effort to be a part of significant change. The perfect scenario in Francesco’s mind was to collect 20,000 1€ donations made by 20,000 different funders. For just the price of a cup of coffee individuals can be a part of real change.

Just 2 years later, in August 2014 the first target has been reached, and now the project team is ready to move in and act. Before the end of 2014 F&B will start the operational phase in Benin to start drilling African lands looking for safe drinking water.
