Contructed from cast the ONYX pegs are heat treated and hardened to 17-4 stainless steel. The rounded tooth design provides excellent traction while reducing wear on boots and the less aggressive platform reduces damage often caused by sharper pegs. The slightly convex platform is better for boot positioning and grip when leaning forward and back. The pegs design also raises the center row of teeth to ease braking, shifting, and weight transfer.
