Continental is now producing their Trail Attacks in 120/70ZR17 and 180/55ZR17, and the TKC-80s now come in 120/70B17 and180/55B17. That’s good news for owners of liter class super-standard bikes like the Triumph Tiger 1050, Buell Ulysses, Ducati Hypermotard and Multistrada,
These new tires will fit other bikes as well; Wunderlich made a splash on the Internet showing off the new rubber on a customized BMW S1000RR that drew all sorts of comparisons to Mad Max films. Thankfully, we’re in no danger of roving, fuel-stealing Multistrada gangs on knobbies. Instead, we figure riders will be taking advantage of Continental’s continuous compound construction to whip their big 17” dual sports around at speed—even if those speeds might not be strictly legal.
