ADVMoto has an exclusive first look at Vee Rubber's yet to be released VRM-401 tire. The VRM-401 is expected to be a 40% on 60% off road DOT adventure knobbie.

We can tell from these pre-production images that this new tire will have wide deep tread blocks that should offer exceptional stability on sand, gravel and in light mud environments. The placement of intermediate blocks along the outer edges of the tire casing will increase stability and traction on pavement with less squirm in the twisties.

The 401 also appears to feature a self-cleaning design for enhanced grip in all situations. Based on the popular adventure sizes that will be available, expect high load ratings suitable for 650cc-1200cc dual sport and adventure motorcycles.
