Donald and Kathy McCoy, direct descendants of the Hatfield's and McCoy's are excited to announce our 2nd Annual STOLEN PIG RALLY for dual sport/enduro adventure riders. The Stolen Pig Rally meet-up and campground will take place April 27th - 30th, 2017. In Downtown Historic "WEST" By God, Matewan WV.

The Stolen Pig Rally will consist of riding and exploring the 2nd lowest valleys, rivers and back roads of the Appalachian Maintains. Trail Routes are located right here where the WV, KY, and VA States meet in the Trillion Dollar coal fields and within the heart of Hatfield and McCoy Feud Country as well as home to the deadliest gun fight in Americas history, none other than the Matewan Masacre coal war of 1920.

There will be leaded and self-guided rides organized by Don McCoy consisting of "big bike" and "small bike" friendly intermediate loops as well as intermediate to highly-experienced rider terrain to choose from!!! For the self-guided rides, maps are available ranging from 50-125 + miles including The Feud Loop for history buffs. Don will be leading with his Dakar 650 with knobby tires. 50,000 plus acres of privately owned “Playground Property” within 2 miles of camp has been the highlight of BYOB 2015 and last years 1st Annual Stolen Pig Rally.

You will experience, intermediate and advance terrane when riding off road!!! If you enjoyed the movie Deliverance you will enjoy the intermediate Chick'n Dumplin's 3-hour loop of WV, KY, and VA. If off road advanced riding is your preference, be ready for rocky terrain, mud holes and steep terrain. If you like intermediate single lane black top twisties and NO DIRT you will be in heaven! Don has ridden and mapped over 1,000 miles of routes within 35 air miles and named them The Real McCoy Trails. The Hatfield McCoy Trails Authority/Trails Heaven has pitched in a deal and waived the $50.00 permit to allow registered riders to ride their trails during the rally.

During these awesome exploration rides you will be no more than 15 to 35 air miles “as a crow would fly” from home camp base adjacent to Hatfield McCoy Resort in Matewan, WV. Participants of The Stolen Pig Rally can pitch a tent or park their RV in an area set aside by the town for the event. The tent sites are primitive and the RV sites have electric hook up only. There will be showers and restrooms available and there’s a dumping station for the RV’s close by. For those of you wanting to book a room, there’s lodging available at the resort and other lodging available within city limits.
