Women Riders World Relay (WRWR) is a global female biker relay, covering even the remote and vast parts of our world. This involves women passing a baton via “legs” of a journey across the world, for example: London to Paris, Paris to Berlin. WRWR is coordinating women motorcycle riders across the world to participate in the “Women Riders World Relay”, bringing fun, experience, confidence and a sense of unity to women riders globally.
WRWR launched a Facebook Group in August 2018 to coordinate women riders across the world to take part in the relay. By the end of the first month, the group reached a massive milestone of 10K members from 80 There are now over 14,000 women from over 90 countries and the group has blossomed into something much more than expected.

What are the details of the relay?
The relay starts on 27th February 2019 from John O'Groats, Scotland and comes to a close in January 2020 in UAE. Founder, Hayley Bell, has created a team of enthusiastic female riders from different countries who share her passion for WRWR and are working tirelessly in the background to ensure the event will go down in history. This includes Ambassadors from each country who are planning out routes and organising events in their countries.Routes are being released in order in which they occur and below is the schedule.
WRWR will be passing a baton from rider to rider all the way around the world, and they want to make sure it’s in safe hands. Riders will be able to register as a ‘Guardian’ or ‘Companion’ to carry and protect the baton for a full day’s ride from start to finish. There can be more than one Guardian registered per leg but it only takes one to get the job done.
There is two ‘Guardian’ registration options - £25 (or equivalent) which includes a Guardian pack of goodies, certificate of participation in this epic event as well as a unique t-shirt designed specially for Guardians to wear with pride. There is also a £5 (or equivalent) option that includes a digital copy of the certificate only to make the relay accessible to all across the world. Men will be able to register as a companion to a Guardian and their £5 (or equivalent) registration will go towards scholarship of a woman riding the relay.
All costs associated with the days ride are the responsibility of the guardian, including but not limited to gas, food, lodging, border crossing, and ferry. WRWR are exploring possibilities to raise further scholarship to support women with their costs associated with taking part.
WRWR will also be supporting the organisation of Ripple relays are extensions of the relay. This is to help include women who are not near the relay route itself. Ripple relays will be organised and communicated on the forum and will be organised by WRWR members themselves with support from WRWR Ambassadors.
