At the beginning of this month, ADVMoto reported on the CSC's announcement of the 450cc, single-cylinder RX4 and 380cc twin-cylinder RX3S. The RX3S won't be available for US showrooms in 2019, but the RX4 is expected to pass EPA certification ready and the American market March/April 2019.

For many of us dual-sport enthusiasts, the RX4 seems to check a lot of boxes. The fuel-injected NC45 motor puts out a healthy 40.2hp and it's mated to a six speed transmission. CSC reports the top speed to be 97.5 mph, meaning it should be able to cruise comfortably on your highway commute. Estimated fuel economy is around 65(ish) mpg and the bike comes with a large 5.3 gallon gas tank. With a seat height of only 31.9 inches, the RX4 could be a great choice for new or shorter riders as well. Here's what CSC had to say about their new bike:

The 450cc single-cylinder, 4-valve, overhead cam, counter-balanced engine produces 40.2 horsepower and achieves a top speed over 95 miles per hour. The RX4 is water-cooled and equipped with Delphi fuel injection and electric start. The bike features a six-speed transmission.

The new RX4 includes an adjustable windscreen, comfortable touring seat and foot pegs with removable rubber inserts. The RX4 features a digital dash with speedometer, tachometer, odometer, trip odometer, fuel gauge, temperature gauge, gear indicator, neutral light, and clock. The new CSC RX4 includes a 300-watt alternator to power accessories with two prewired outlets under the seat.

The bike features a rear rack and molded top case which is large enough for a full-face helmet. Also included are side pannier racks and molded side cases. All three cases are lockable and keyed to match the ignition.

The RX4 features LED turn signals and brake light plus LED day-time running lights. The headlamps are controlled by an automatic light sensor. A standard 5.3-gallon gas tank with locking cap is perfect for extended rides. With fuel consumption exceeding 60 miles per gallon, the RX4 has an honest range approaching 300 miles.

The CSC RX4 is outfitted with spoked wheels, black anodized aluminum rims and 80/20 dual sport tires with tubes. CSC Motorcycles will also be offering the RX4 with OPTIONAL cast aluminum wheels with tubeless highway tires.
